Selat District is a sub-district in Karangasem Regency, Bali, Indonesia. The area is 80.35 km². In 2002, the population numbered 34,760. The Selat District is also known as the Duda Strait Village. This area is famous for the zalacca plantation sector, especially in Duda Village, North Duda Village, and East Duda Village. The Selat Sub-District Head Office is located in Duda Village precisely on Jl. Raya Besakih, Amlapura. In this sub-district there is Pura Pasar Agung located in Sebudi Village. Tourism objects in the Strait District are Putung Tourism Object located at Br. Putung Timur Duda Village.
